Protecting Our Open Spaces: Teton Regional Land Trust
The concept of Servant Leadership runs through everything we do at Portfolio Solutions®. Whether it be in our client engagements, giving back to our communities or within our team collaboration, we are consistent in our resolve to place the interests of others ahead of our own.
We have donated our time, talents, and funding to serve charitable organizations all over the U.S. The latest example of our charitable work is through our sponsorship of the upcoming “In A Landscape: Classical Music in the Wild” event on September 11th on Fox Creek Ranch in Teton Valley, Idaho, benefiting the Teton Regional Land Trust.
This event for the Teton Regional Land Trust is near and dear to the ethos of our team and our commitment to giving back. Our Chairman and CEO, James S. Gladney, will be on hand to hear the musical stylings of Hunter Noack, a classical pianist who will play his 9-foot Steinway grand piano at Fox Creek Ranch, a conserved property. Attendees will listen via wireless headphones and have the opportunity to wander the grounds through hay fields, wetlands, and along the meandering creek while taking in the stunning views and scenic landscape.
Supporting Teton Regional Land Trust is an example of how the team at Portfolio Solutions® lives out principles of Servant Leadership and our core values, which we refer to collectively as “S.E.R.V.E.” (Service, Education, Reliability, Valuing Others, and Ethics). As leaders, we focus on the well-being and growth of communities to encourage others to do the same. We closely align with Teton Regional Land Trust’s mission to conserve working farms and ranches, fish and wildlife habitat, and scenic open spaces for now and future generations.
Like us, they recognize, respect, and support the inherent cultural connection that both landowners and the local community have with Idaho’s landscape and its unique wildlife. Supporting organizations that understand how open space provides important ecological, economic, educational, and recreational benefits to communities will help conserve the beauty of our nation not just for today, but also for future generations.
We proudly sponsor this event, and many others like it, and invite our clients and partners to tell us about their charitable endeavors. Together, we can make the world a better place by supporting the causes important to one another and living out our commitment to Servant Leadership.
